DUBAI – Zayed University Student Council proudly announces its unwavering dedication to ensuring every student’s satisfaction at Zayed University. Our goal is to make Zayed University students among the happiest and most successful in the world as we embark on a mission to create a vibrant and harmonious university experience. With a dynamic team of dedicated students, the council is focused on four core aims and goals: Advocacy, Unity, Leadership Development, and Community Impact.

“Our mission is to serve as dedicated advocates for students, ensuring not only the recognition but the active resolution of their rights and concerns,” said Maryam Alfalasi, president of the Zayed University Student Council. “We are deeply committed to fostering meaningful social interactions, nurturing leadership skills, expertly mediating conflicts, and championing diversity through the organization of enriching events, all aimed at enhancing the overall student experience.”

Achieving these aims and goals has been a hallmark of the Student Council’s tenure at the university. Notably, the council has successfully contributed to a series of engaging events, including the annual celebrations of UAE National Day, Flag Day, Winter Festival, Reading Month, and many more interactive and fun opportunities. Our initiated projects feature a wide variety of activities that offer both fun and educational opportunities for students, contributing to a vibrant campus life.

“Student Council participation is the key that unlocks the door to positive change and empowerment, where each voice becomes a catalyst for a brighter tomorrow,” said Roudha Abdulla Alyasi, vice president of the Zayed University Student Council.

Remarkably, the Student Council consists of a group of outstanding students who skilfully manage their academic responsibilities, including classes, exams, and assignments, alongside their commitment to the council’s initiatives. This dual role has helped the Student Council members to gain many skills such as time management, leadership, creativity, innovation and much more, that contributes to their personal growth ensuring that each member is well-prepared for future leadership roles.

“We are dedicated to the Student Council because we believe in our ability to make a meaningful impact on the university community,” said Anood Abdulla Almarzooqi, student council public relations coordinator. “Our experiences here have equipped us with valuable skills that will undoubtedly benefit us in the future.”

At the start of every semester, students are invited to join our team, with the most exceptional students being chosen. Under the guidance of our faculty leaders Ms. Azza Al Huraiz, student leadership manager, and Ms. Maryam Al Hersi, Student Council supervisor. The Student Council continues to flourish. We warmly welcome all students who have a passion for making a positive impact and contributing to the university’s development. Together, we aspire to create a more inclusive and harmonious university experience for everyone.
