DUBAI – One Emirati man succeeded in realizing his dream of being one of the youngest Japanese Domestic Market classic vehicle collectors in the United Arab Emirates. His love of vintage automobiles inspired him to go on this journey.

Omar Al Mualemi, 26, is not the typical car enthusiast. He can be better described as a dedicated classic car collector.  His love for cars started right from his late childhood. Over the past 3 years, Al Mualemi has been on his exciting journey. He is turning his childhood passion into a unique project. His project is about collecting and restoring classic cars. However, he focuses mainly on the iconic JDM classic cars.

Al Mualemi’s journey in the world of classic cars is a perfect example of the power of passion. It all started 20 years back when he was a child. He describes how he was mesmerized by the powerful roar of the engines of classic cars. He said that it has been the journey of a lifetime turning that passion into a reality. As he grew older, he knew he wanted to turn his passion into a lifelong pursuit.

For Al Mualemi, JDM isn’t just an acronym – it’s a way of life. Japanese Domestic Market cars represent a world of automotive excellence. Al Mualemi is on a mission to introduce this excellence to the UAE. These cars were originally designed for the Japanese market. Most of these cars come with unique features for the local population. Al Mualemi says he understands JDM cars and is determined to educate everyone about the hidden treasures within these classic beauties.

Al Mualemi’s garage is indeed a paradise for classic car lovers. It’s where he is bringing vintage cars back to life. His approach is meticulous and he focuses on both restoration and modification to unleash the cars’ full potential.

“JDM cars are not just vehicles, they’re a piece of history,” Al Mualemi said. “It’s a blend of engineering and art that deserves to be celebrated.”

He loves to showcase his impressive collection and his unwavering dedication to the world of classic cars. His creations not only turn heads but also take the track by storm as they pay homage to the golden era of JDM cars.

Al Mualemi is one of the JDM classic car collectors in the UAE. He has redefined the concept of classic car ownership.

“Classic cars are timeless and I’m just here to bridge this gap between the past and future of these cars,” Al Mualemi said.
