DUBAI – Zayed University community celebrated the 51st National Day.
In Dubai, the opening speech was given by the Student Council President Reem Al Mazrouei.
In a 51-second video, several members of Zayed University expressed their admiration for the Union.
Dr. Suhail Mubarak AlGhfeli from the College of Natural and Health Sciences recited a poem.
The National Band performed a traditional dance.
The day continued with numerous activities in the Atrium.
For example, the College of Business organized a majlis where visitors could learn about the history of the dirham.
Mahra Al Suwaidi, who majors in marketing and entrepreneurship, gave Zajel a tour of the majlis. She explained that the posters in the majlis were about the most prominent members of the business community in the country. On the posters, visitors could leave a note on what inspires them.
College of Business was true to itself and used tax invoices to write thank-you notes to the majlis visitors.
