Alya Majed Alabdooli is reporting on the Expo 2020 visit on Nov. 1.

DUBAI – Zayed University in Dubai organized student visits to Expo 2020.

On Monday, some students visited Sustainability District. This visit started with a tour of the Czech Republic pavilion.

Students then continued to New Zealand’s pavilion. New Zealand prepared a room-sized digital installation about the river ecosystem.

The Netherlands pavilion showcases technology that turns desert air into water. That water is used to grow edible plants and even mushrooms.

We were advised to visit the Germany pavilion, but we were also warned that the German pavilion always has a line. Oh well, next visit, then!
