DUBAI — The Sharjah Art Foundation invited visitors to multiple art events on Feb. 27, 2016.
Relief Sculpture with Abdulraheem Salim
The first event ran from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and was a workshop hosted by sculptor Abdulraheem Salim, who lent his artistic knowledge to participants to create clay and plaster relief sculptures. This gave a chance for visitors to be able to transform their imagination into concrete models using Salim’s inventive techniques.
do it بالعربي Photo Walk (Do It in Arabic Photo Walk)
The second event was a photo walk that began at 3 p.m. and was organized by Hoor Al Qasimi, the director of the Sharjah Art Foundation. Sixty artists from across the region distributed instructions for the public to engage in artistic endeavors.
The walk began from Bait Al Shamsi and escalated to a trip to Soul Al Jbail. Visitors and participants had a chance to indulge in the fresh atmosphere brought by the fish market’s auction.
