ABU DHABI — Buca di Beppo, the American restaurant, is a place to experience fine Italian food — it gives the visitor an opportunity to taste authentic and modern Italian dishes served in family-size, to be shared by the entire table. Buca di Beppo, headquartered in Orlando, Florida, is a part of the Planet Hollywood family of restaurants. It celebrates recipes handed down from one generation to another. The restaurant was established in 1993, as a small business in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Now, Buca di Beppo has grown to more than 100 locations worldwide. It recently opened in its latest UAE location at the Cascade Pavilion dining area by the dancing fountain at Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi.
The restaurant gives the diner a chance to enjoy delicious food either indoor or outdoors dining with a superior view of the dancing fountain on the first floor of the mall.
The wooden interior offers a vintage décor with red painted walls and tables with white tablecloths. The interior also gives customers the chance to be entertained by photographs and memorabilia that create an enjoyable and amusing atmosphere.
As you dive into the food at Buca di Beppo, you feel positive vibes.
Significantly, Buca isn’t just recognized for how it’s decorated, but also by the variety of dishes offered, starting with some Italian classics like meatballs or fried mozzarella made with homemade sauce. Another favorite is the mixed green salad tossed in an Italian vinaigrette sauce with Roma tomatoes, red onions and pepperoncini peppers.
Don’t miss the taste of the lasagna, a towering layer of deliciousness. I also recommend the mouthwatering Chicken Glorioso dish, which melts in your mouth, as you taste each creamy bite.
Although I was planning to have my desert somewhere else, it was hard to refuse the delicious scoops of mixed flavored ice cream.
