ABU DHABI – Picking up where the last film left off, Tony Stark, aka Ironman (Robert Downey Jr.), along with Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) are back trying to take down the remaining Hydra facility in Sokovia in Eastern Europe.

Their mission, in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” is to retrieve Loki’s, Thor’s adopted brother, scepter.

Along the way, they come across the Maximoff twins, Wanda & Pietro (played by Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson respectively). Wanda possesses the ability to manipulate thoughts while Pietro can travel in superhuman speed.

Once Ironman retrieves the gem, little does he know that the jewel on the scepter is one of the Infinity Gems that grants the holder the power to rule the universe.

Stark and Banner uncover a secret, though: within the gem includes an artificial intelligence program that can supposedly complete Stark’s defense program.

Unfortunately, Stark’s manipulative ways only lead to a chain reaction that leads to the activation of Ultron (James Spader), Stark’s defense program that was supposed to protect earth from any alien invasions as well as other threats in the future.

However, Ultron’s analysis of previous events (that are seen through flashback memories) helps it conclude that human beings are the initial threat on Earth and need to be exterminated.

Director Joss Whedon brings back your favorite superheroes from the Marvel universe in an action-packed, fast-paced motion picture that will surely have you feeling Thor’s hammer crushing the floor beneath you feet or the Hulk’s roar sending chills down your spine.

The movie premiered across the United Arab Emirates on 30 April 2015. The movie is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In its first few weeks in theaters, the film was the top grossing film of the year. So far, it has grossed $1.3 billion at the box office.
