ABU DHABI — The Third Place is a café on the corniche in Abu Dhabi that combines cultures, art, and beauty. The concept is to basically to give students, workers, and anyone else in the community the space to study, do their work, finish their book, create some art, have a meal, or simply chill with friends and have a good cup of coffee.

The Third Place, is defined as that neutral corner that is neither your work nor your home. Its theme is inspired by the Arabian coffeehouse, the German bierstube, the Italian taberna, and the Viennese coffeehouse.

It is basically a small villa which provides indoor as well as outdoor seating, a great way of chilling with friends in winter.

They offer a wide range of foods; breakfast, sandwiches, pastas, main courses, salads, small bites, and a kids’ menu too. This café also provides a space for different purposes — workshops, lunch gatherings, birthdays, baby and bridal showers, artwork exhibitions, and much more.

The Third Place happens to be my favorite and I’d highly recommend it. Their menu is rich in what it offers for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as I’ve had some gatherings and meetings set up there. It’s also the first place that comes to my mind when I feel like chilling with friends, getting my work done, or finish some assignments as it has a great atmosphere for studying. I would simply go to The Third Place to enjoy a cup of coffee on a calm winter evening.

The Third Place is located on Corniche Street, Villa T3 in Abu Dhabi. Opening hours are everyday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
