DUBAI — Kevin Mitnick conducted a Q&A panel on the 10th of Feb, 2016. The panel, organised by the World Government Summit, took place in Madinat Jumeirah.
Mitnick is a world-famous hacker, author and computer security consultant. He shared his experience in hacking with the audience which consisted of students from various universities.
Mitnick also shared a few stories of his student years and demonstrated live hacking by using either a USB drive, PDF attachment, installing false Java applets to take over webcams or by MITM attacks where the hacker can secretly eavesdrop on the communication between two systems or people.
To him, hacking is like performing a magic trick, and that is what drew Mitnick to it.
